Description
Navela 1.5 mg is an emergency contraceptive pill intended for use within 72 hours of unprotected intercourse or contraceptive failure to prevent pregnancy. It contains levonorgestrel, a hormone that prevents ovulation, fertilization, or implantation.
How to use:
- Take one tablet as soon as possible, preferably within 12 hours, but no later than 72 hours after unprotected sex.
- Navela is a single-dose pill; do not take more than one tablet per incident.
Precautions:
- Not intended as a regular contraceptive method.
- Consult a healthcare provider if you are already pregnant or suspect pregnancy.
- Do not use if you have severe liver dysfunction or are allergic to levonorgestrel.
